Crossing Zimbabwe Beitbridge includes the following processes.

Stages

1. Book Your TIP - If you are driving a foreign registered vehicle you will need to apply for a Temporary Import Permit (TIP) for yor car. Apply for your TIP on https://ecustoms.zimra.co.zw/etip/ and keep the reference number. You can book for a TIP before departing for Zimbabwe.
2. Get a Zim Border Reciept - As you enter the border you will be issued with a Zim Border receipt. You will not pay anything here but keep the receipt safe as you will need it in the next steps.
3. Pay Your Zim Border - Now inside find the Zim Border counter and show them the receipt from Stage 2. You will pay USD27.00 or USD40.00 if you are towing a trailer. Remember to keep your Zim Border receipt here too
4. Approach CID Desk - Find out where the CID desk is located and approach them with the receipt and papers for your vehicle. They will scan the receipt and hand it back to you. Keep that receipt safe.
5. Approach ZINARA counter - Approach the ZINARA counter inside and pay bridge toll which is USD10. They will print a gate pass and hand it to you. Keep the gate pass and the zim border reciepts safe.
6. Approach Immigration Counter - Find the Immigration counter and show them your passport and gate pass for stamping. They will give back both the passport and gate pass after stamping.
7. Approach ZIMRA Counter - Once done with immigration approach the ZIMRA counter. You will give them your TIP refrence from the first stage. You will pay USD50 and they will print 2 copies and hand them to you.
8. Drive Out - When driving out there are a number of check points inside the border you should be able to drive out in less than 10 minutes.
